Interview with Thomas Burt (1900-1987) of Creedmoor, N.C., blues musician, specializing in reels, spirituals, and blues. The interview is about Burt's blues guitar playing, about ragtime, spirituals, and hymns. Burt also discusses buckdancing and the dances, corn shuckings, and ice cream suppers at which he used to play. In addition, he talks about his family members and their music making, and some of the musicians with whom he played in the Durham area.
